With many of the rental villas on St Barts sporting white walls and minimalist decoration, Villa Veronika St Barts offers an ambiance more akin to what you might find in Indonesia than the Caribbean. With vaulted wood ceilings, wood-clad walls both inside and out, hardwood floors, and rich warm colors everywhere, this vacation villa rental with its own unique charm that will appeal to guests who appreciate individuality and space. Outdoor space is in abundance. There’s a central pool surrounded by a large deck on three sides with ample room for lounging. Off to one side is a covered seating area right next to the tree canopy and with sea views that’s a great place for social relaxation. The main covered terrace has a dining table, and there are further terraces accessed from each of the bedrooms, perfect for sunbathing.
Inside, the living area is one open space with areas defined for lounging, cooking, and dining, all set under a very high, vaulted ceiling and open to the views outside. There is an eclectic mix of decorative items and furniture, collected from around the world, that include a vintage jukebox that somehow looks right at home here! The modern kitchen is tucked behind a partial wall and is fully equipped with high-end stainless steel appliances, and there is a dining table with space for 8 inside, when you’re not making use of the table on the terrace.
The three bedrooms are nicely separated from each other to grant privacy to guests when not enjoying social times. The first bedroom leads off from the living room and has a king size bed and doors out to the terrace and a lovely view, plus a large ensuite bathroom. Bedroom two is accessed from a slightly elevated terrace close to the pool. It too has a king bed and an ensuite with partial views. Bedroom three is down a level, using steps from the lower pool deck, and is very private. It has a queen bed and a nice ensuite, although there are no sea views.
