With its gray roof and white walls, the property first seems similar to many other villas, but look closer and you’ll see its unique, well-designed features that set this villa apart. Set over two floors, with the living area above and bedrooms below, the rectangular building reaches out to the bay thanks to its rounded terrace whose crowning glory is the wonderful infinity pool in the center, flanked by a sundeck on either side where guests can sunbathe all day while admiring the gorgeous view.
Inside, an open interior space includes a lounge area to one end, dining table in the convivial heart of the room, and kitchen to the other end. Set under a traditional vaulted white wood ceiling, a playful and bright element is added by the orange feature walls at either end, while the hardwood floors (a rare treat for St Barths) add warmth. The very modern kitchen with glossy gray cabinets and stone-faced island might look out of place anywhere else, but not here.
At the back of the living space a calming pond sits by the top of the beautiful floating staircase that leads to the bedroom wing. A stone wall follows the stairs down to an indoor garden that further promotes a tropical, relaxed atmosphere. Walk one way and you reach the grand Master Bedroom, while the other direction takes you to the equally grand, only slightly smaller, second bedroom. Both bedrooms have four-poster king beds, terraces, ocean view, and lovely bathrooms that are semi-open to the bedroom, featuring massive walk-in showers.
