High in the hills just above one of St Barts most isolated beaches, Gouverneur, the Blue Dragon Villa is a truly extraordinary property. This spectacularly beautiful house with its incredible location and exceptional amenities is exquisite and unique, just like the mythical creature after which it is named.

One of the larger rental villas on St Barts, several terraces overlook the amazing beauty that is Gouverneur’s Anse. The white sand of this revered shoreline is within walking distance, as is south facing Saline, another of the island’s extraordinary beaches. The villa Blue Dragon is such a sanctuary that there really is no need to venture out except to enjoy the luxury shops and amazing restaurants of Gustavia, or have some fun in the waves on the beaches of the island’s Atlantic.

In a luxuriant, verdant setting concealed by an abundance of palm trees, the estate weaves up the hillside over several levels. The intricate design is perfectly molded into rocky but lush surroundings. A large, unconventional swimming pool, who’s shallow end is perfect for young children, and various terraces, all surrounded by a tropical garden, make staying at the villa Blue Dragon seem like paradise. The incredible Caribbean climate is simply a plus!

Vast bay windows allow the breathtaking panoramas of the horizon to be appreciated throughout the large, convivial spaces which span the main level. A fabulously equipped kitchen follows a spacious living room and dining room that comfortably accommodates 12 guests. One suite is situated on this floor with the others spread over the remaining levels. The interior decor, an impeccable blend of vintage and contemporary design by Elisa Bally, is sumptuously comfortable and elegant. A billiard and fitness room are also on hand for added fun and recreation.

The 6 suites that comprise villa Blue Dragon are all extremely well-appointed in regards to comfort and amenities; private bathrooms boasting rain showers (some with outdoor showers as well), beautiful views of Gouverneur’s Anse, complete and total privacy… One suite is found on the same floor as the convivial areas, four others on 2 levels situated below, with the principal suite found on the upper level. The entire estate, including these private spaces, enjoys a refined décor that exudes a tranquil, serene atmosphere.
