When privacy and serenity are calling, Villa South Wave provides a calming vacation space in Toiny, one of the least developed parts of the island. This luxurious villa sits just above Toiny Bay, showcasing beautiful bay views as well as a patchwork of greens on the surrounding hills. Despite the quiet location, Hotel Le Toiny and its restaurant, as well as several other key St Barth’s hotels, are just steps away when you want to eat out.

The rear façade of Villa South Wave is more Hollywood Hills than Toiny hills, with its clean lines and flat roof line, but this cleverly designed modern villa skillfully combines traditional Caribbean elements too, such as the weathered gray pyramid roofs that are set slightly back from the edges of the roof. The central infinity pool opens the view out to Toiny Bay and there’s ample space for lounging in the sun. A covered terrace extends the living area of the villa with an inviting seating area to one end, and a large natural wood dining table with benches at the other, close to the barbecue.

The indoor living room is very spacious. A vaulted white wood ceiling, typical for St Barts, opens the space even more and promotes the bright and welcoming atmosphere, as does the warm color tone along the rear wall. Echoing the setup outside, there is a zone for relaxing and socializing at one end of the room with sofas and a TV, then the indoor dining table. The large and modern kitchen, at the opposite end, is fronted by an island and has everything guests need.

The two bedrooms lead off from the central living area. The Master Bedroom boasts enviable views over the bay and has direct access to the terrace and pool. It’s a spacious and bright room that tempts you to stay and relax just a little longer. Bedroom two is of a similar size and has large dual aspect sliding doors, one of which opens to a Juliet balcony and has views over lush tropical plants and trees. The other aspect opens to an outdoor shower, and both bedrooms have their own private ensuite bathrooms and walk-in closets.
