Hugging the hillside like it’s been dropped down into place, right on top of lush green tree canopies, sits the luxurious Villa Milonga. High above Marigot Bay, the views from this vacation rental are simply stunning; panoramas of the bay and the ocean beyond give guests the feeling of privacy and solitude yet it’s only a few minutes in the car to several lovely beaches, and great restaurants and shopping are never far away.

Villa Milonga literally is 'perched' on the hillside and surrounded by greenery. An expansive terrace stretches the entire width of the villa, set over a couple of different levels and with an inviting swimming pool and relaxing jacuzzi at the heart of this outdoor space, leading to a large sundeck with outdoor dining to make the most of those views. Elevated just above the pool there is a cantilevered deck leading off the main living area, and the terraces continue outside the bedrooms too, providing ample space for all guests to relax alone, or socialize as a group.

Inside is bright and white, interspersed with warm grays. The open plan living area features a traditional vaulted Caribbean ceiling, making the space feel even larger than it is. Most of this space is taken by an enormous comfortable sectional sofa where kids or adults can relax by the TV in the evening or simply sit and enjoy the views. To one end, slightly separated from the main space, a sleek modern kitchen with everything you could need is open to the dining room, one of three dining spaces in this rental villa.

The four ensuite bedrooms are all modern yet homely, with pieces of more traditional furniture here and there. The Master suite sits through double doors off the living room and features its own sitting nook with desk. Two more bedrooms share a separate bungalow. These bedrooms are connected, making them a great choice for families with children. The fourth bedroom is very private, on its own level below and benefiting from a small personal terrace, perfect for grandparents perhaps.
