With its classy combination of the Caribbean and modern styling, villa The Source provides a sort of ‘St. Barths meets L.A. Hills’ brand of architecture. The low, pyramidal roofs anchor the villa to the hillside, while one level down the wooden, box-like terrace frames the views for guests looking out from the bedroom wing. It’s at this level that you will also find one of its two sundecks, this one providing a more cozy setting, bordered by palm trees and a spacious Jacuzzi. The main sun deck wraps around and in front of the living area, above, providing sweeping views from inside and out which are particularly special from the infinity pool. Find the right angle to float at and you’ll be hard-pushed to tell where the pool ends and the beautiful blue sky begins.

Inside, this vacation villa was designed to provide openness, with some separation. The living room flows into the gleaming white kitchen where glass doors retract for a smooth transition from inside to the outside covered dining area, with its large contemporary dining table. There are spectacular views from here too, of course, and this entire living area flows to the outside covered deck with additional seating, and beyond this, the pool.

Two of The Source’s six bedrooms are on this main level, while the remaining four stand in a row, on that lower level near the Jacuzzi. All bedrooms are similar in size and feature their own bathrooms with plenty of closet space, and each bedroom has its own striking color scheme to provide a sense of individuality and playfulness. The overriding theme is a modern take on retro furnishings, and five of the six bedrooms have European king beds that can be changed into twins if it suits guests better. The final highlight of the bedrooms, aside from the stunning views they all provide, is the larger bedroom of the six – this unique space features a glass wall that brings a small garden right into the heart of the bedroom and provides views out to the ocean while taking a shower!
